and lead me along the path of everlasting life (Psalm 139:23-24) Lord, complete Your work in and through me. Sift me and make me the person You would have me to be. May my faith not fail. May I be strengthened in my faith this year. May Jesus be evident in my daily walk today and everyday. May my works be evidence of my genuine faith. Help me to strive not for perfection but for consistent obedience to the one who paid my debt, that He did not owe. Do not be afraid to be obedient to Christ in whatever He is calling you to do today. It can be scary to publicly profess Jesus as your savior and to be held accountable for your sin. However, all that matters is how God sees you and He sees your heart. He knows every part of you. You can not hide your sin from Him. Yet He loves you so unconditionally that He gave His life for you. You can fear what others may think of you when you are obedient or you can step out in faith and let Jesus complete the work He has started in you. You can let Him begin to mend the broken pieces of you this year. Allow Him to make you complete. Surrender your will to His more perfect will.
